Situated even not too far from Podgorica, Kuči Mountains are real empire of natural diversity of Montenegro. Just about 50 km from the widest valley in the country we can enjoy really high area that’s normally too big obstacle for all those who can spoil it.

Position of this mountain massif is really fantastic: all the visitors are blessed with breathtaking views to the most of southern and eastern Montenegro as well as parts of Albania and Kosovo. This craggy area merges all the karst relief forms, stunning high peaks and glacial lakes. We’ll start from legendary Bukumirsko Lake, climbing up to two highest rocky boulders Surdup (2.184 m a.s.l.) and Štitan (2.172 m a.s.l.), all the time enjoying the view to so-called “Montengrin Materhorn” (the needle shaped peak of Pasjak, the most demanding in this mountain). And the prize you’ll get at the top is not easy to describe with words: you’ll see Prokletije, Komovi, Durmitor, Rumija, Lovćen, Bjelasica, Sinjajevina, Moračke Mountains, as well as Lake Skadar and even Adriatic Sea. It’s not that easy hike but it is definitely worth of effort. We guarantee that you will love it.
