Definitely top rated tour at Lake Skadar. It’s really magical mix of plenty of different attractions: old, charming villages, tiny rivers that flow through rows of willows, huge fields of lilies, channels hidden in dense reed, flocks of birds around, old medieval fortress built by ancient Montenegrin kings.

Tour starts with half an hour transfer to Žabljak Crnojevića – there we’ll jump into our kayaks, passing beautiful river of Karatuna. When on the lake, we’ll turn to bay of Karuč, old fishing village and one of former summer resorts of Montenegrin royal families. There we’ll stop for lunch, fresh drink and a relaxing swim. On the way back we will change the most of the route to see as much from this amazing environment as possible, enjoying absolute peace in the middle of untouched nature. We’ll finish the day with a visit to mystical castle placed on top of the hill at our starting/ending point. Built in time of final invasion of Ottomans, it used to be strategically very important point for centuries. Its position allowed ancient warriors to see invaders miles and miles away – now we can enjoy the view to wide area from there as the sight from there covers the most of National Park’s territory. Sunset at this point is truly breathtaking moment. And you will feel it.
