No doubt, Lola is our favorite mountain. Situated in the middle of Montenegro, quite far from the main roads, this remote area is the real heaven for all those who want unique experience in exploring untouched nature. It takes about 1.5 hours of drive from Podgorica to get there but even this journey is a true adventure – passing terrific Morača Canyon (Platije), we’ll stop at ancient orthodox monastery from 12th century to enjoy real peace of this marvelous building. Then we’ll hit small local road that will lead us through breathtaking peaks of Moračke Mountains and Sinjajevina, finally reaching magical pastures of the mountain with the most beautiful name in Montenegro.

Lola is wide grassy area that has been still used by local farmers as their summer residence and they’re almost only humans who know for this secret place. Beautiful valleys are decorated with several peaks over 2000 meters above the sea and there’s plenty of options that we can do in terms of touring in Lola: from very easy walk between the peaks to conquering 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 of them in the same tour! It’s your call to decide how much you want to achieve depending on your physical abilities. More you do, more you see…

We’ll also bring you to a local household that spends summer months there with their animals and meet their original lifestyle in more than basic conditions. Their true hospitality and friendliness break all the language barriers. Lunch/dinner in their house will be probably the purest organic food you’ve ever tasted.
